Symphony Maldives is looking for a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our restaurant team. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our guests.
🌟 Job Summary
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service. Your goal is to provide each guest with a memorable dining experience that reflects the high standards of Symphony Maldives.
📌 Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.

Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized food and beverage recommendations.

Take and process guest orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff.

Ensure food and beverages are served promptly, maintaining the correct serving temperature (hot dishes hot, cold dishes cold).

Provide attentive service, checking on guests’ satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Process payments accurately using the cash register or POS system.

Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas.

Uphold proper grooming standards and report to work in full uniform and on time.

Assist in keeping the restaurant environment clean, safe, and organized.

Maintain strong knowledge of the full menu, daily specials, and promotions.

Adhere to service timing standards and hospitality best practices.
✅ Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or restaurant server (preferred).

Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).

Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
⚙️ Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: MVR 5,397
-
Service Charge: MVR 2,000 – 3,000 (approx.)

Overtime: As per Maldivian labor law
