Job Vacancy: Executive Housekeeper – Malahini Kuda Bandos, Maldives
Malahini Kuda Bandos is currently hiring a dynamic and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping department. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury resorts and hotels in the Maldives who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring villas/rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas meet international cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the housekeeping team to provide excellent guest service.
- Implement and monitor Housekeeping SOPs, inventory management, and cost controls.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain high-quality standards in laundry and linen management.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a luxury hotel or resort.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the Maldives preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven expertise in budget management, P&L, forecasting, and inventory controls.
- In-depth knowledge of all Housekeeping functions, including laundry operations.
- Ability to coach, train, and lead a multicultural workforce effectively.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- A team player with a results-driven approach.
