Meeru Maldives Resort Island is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our engineering team. This is a great opportunity to advance your career with one of the leading resort brands in the Maldives while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our island facilities.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, service, and repair all electrical components, including lighting, cabling, and equipment.
- Carry out network installation and assist with new equipment setup.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults such as short circuits, outages, or damaged components.
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems across resort facilities.
- Support the engineering team with marine electrical systems and power-related operations when required.
✅ Candidate Requirements
- O Level / GCE or completed a 4-year Apprenticeship (N.A.B. National Apprentice Board).
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Electrician.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Marine Electrical Systems or a Power Engineering License is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with attention to safety and detail.
