Symphony Maldives is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling transactions in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Experience & Skills Required

GCE O’ Level qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience using POS software.

Strong numerical and accuracy skills.

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Dhivehi.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
📌 Roles & Responsibilities
-
Greet and assist customers courteously while maintaining a clean and organized counter area.

Count and verify cash drawer balances at the beginning and end of shifts.

Handle cash, card, voucher, and digital transactions accurately, issuing receipts and change as needed.

Answer customer calls, take orders politely, and resolve any complaints with professionalism.

Record and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Support in preparing and organizing customer orders, coordinating timely deliveries.

Maintain strong relationships with loyal and repeat customers.

Prepare and submit entry sheets along with daily cash collections at the end of each shift.
💼 Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: MVR 5,500
-
Service Charge: MVR 2,000 – 3,000 (approx.)

Overtime: As per Maldivian labor law
