Position: Assistant Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in expanding into new markets and strengthening existing market share.

• Manage FAM trips, foster strong relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and local DMCs.

• Assist in executing sales strategies, destination marketing, and daily operations.

• Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement effective strategies.

• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions and campaigns.

• Represent the resort at trade shows, exhibitions, and roadshows.

• Ensure high standards of customer service and relationship management in all B2B interactions.

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role at a five-star resort, preferably in the Maldives or Indian Ocean region.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality trends.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, island-based environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office and business software tools.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze reports and meet sales targets.

• Additional language proficiency will be an added advantage.

• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
