- TEPPANYAKI CHEF
The responsibilities of the Teppanyaki Chef, who prepares and presents Japanese cuisine predominantly on an iron griddle, include the sourcing of ingredients, the development of the menu, and interactive culinary demonstrations that guarantee an indelible dining experience. Produce and present teppanyaki dishes for guests with utmost proficiency and punctuality, all the while upholding elevated criteria for excellence and aesthetics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a five-star Resort in Maldives.
- Strong knife skills and ability to slice and dice ingredients quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
- Outgoing, pleasant personality with the ability to work under pressure
- Auditing experience & Compliance oriented
- A positive “CAN DO” attitude and able to work as apart of a Team
- Due to location and our CSR efforts Maldivian candidates will be prioritized for some positions.
