Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technician – My Medical Center, Maldives
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our medical team in the Maldives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality X-ray images, and supporting doctors in accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate X-ray and other radiology equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.

Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and medical staff to provide accurate diagnostic support.

Maintain patient records, imaging reports, and equipment logs.

Ensure imaging equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly.

Assist in emergency cases requiring immediate diagnostic imaging.

Handle patients with care, professionalism, and respect, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Candidate Profile

Diploma/Degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, or related field.

Valid certification/license to practice as an X-Ray Technician (where applicable).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic center (experience in the Maldives or similar healthcare settings is an advantage).

Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, imaging techniques, and safety procedures.

Good communication skills in English (Dhivehi language proficiency is a plus).

Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team-driven medical environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency shifts if required.
