Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant – Vital Care Medical, Maldives
Vital Care Medical is seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patients receive excellent care, and maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our dental clinic.
Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and dental procedures.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials.

Ensure the dental operatory is clean, safe, and ready for patient care.

Provide chairside support to dentists and reassure patients throughout treatments.

Take and maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care when required.

Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.

Adhere to infection control and health & safety guidelines at all times.

Support overall dental clinic operations, including inventory and supplies management.
Candidate Profile

Diploma/Certification in Dental Assisting or a related field.

Prior experience as a dental assistant in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting (experience in the Maldives is an advantage).

Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and chairside assistance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Well-groomed, professional, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.

Fluent in English (Dhivehi language proficiency is a plus).
