💼 Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Accounts Executive to support our resort’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing invoices, reconciling statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the seamless functioning of accounting processes.
You will play an essential role in maintaining the financial integrity and operational excellence of our luxury resort.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Verify and process invoices and financial documents accurately.
- Reconcile vendor statements and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with company policies.
- Support monthly and annual closing procedures.
- Assist in audits and ensure adherence to USALI standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (AAT, CA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star resort in the Maldives.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and USALI standards.
- Previous experience in an audit firm will be an added advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
