Chef De Cuisine
We’re looking for a Chef De Cuisine with at least 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury five-star hotel or a resort in a remote location. The candidate should have the following skills and attributes.
Job Profile:
The right candidate will be a highly talented individual with similar proven background in European fine dining operations, possess strong leadership skills and as well as a high level of creativity in menus and presentations. Previous experience in modern cooking techniques using sous-vide, thermomixer slow cooking, smoker and customized made Josper Oven will be an added advantage.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure that the assigned Kitchen is managed efficiently according to the established concept
statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service always, following
company Standards of Performance. - To be a hands-on Manager and be always present in the operation, especially during busy periods.
- To ensure that guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience
- To plan the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to
handle the level of business. - Ensure that all food items are prepared as per standard recipes card whilst maintaining portion
control and minimizing waste.
