Seasonal Spa Therapist
As a member of the Spa Department, she shall provide the highest standards as prescribed in the policy and procedure manual. The Spa Therapist is responsible for giving professional massage, and body facial treatments, to our guests by having a thorough knowledge of various massage techniques, a general understanding of body treatments, and a willingness to undergo training on specific treatments offered based on our Spa menu.
Requirements / Qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a related field.
- Must have Spa and Wellness-related certificates recognized globally.
- Yoga teacher experience is an advantage.
- A positive “can do” attitude with good teamwork.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in Maldives is an added advantage.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide a range of treatments as per training including manicure, pedicure, and waxing, using correct techniques, equipment, and time frame.
- Effectively inform and educate the guests about specific wellness concerns where required.
- Perform all Spa treatments as instructed and be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the Spa and guests.
- To properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost control.
- Follows standard operating procedures and policies
